These Idaho Ski Resorts Are Open Over The Holidays and More Opening Soon
It hasn’t been the most snowy season in Idaho's history, but it has been snowy enough for many of the ski resorts to open. There are still a few that are waiting for a few more inches of powder before they can safely open.
That’s great news for those wishing to hit the slopes over the holiday break.

Many Idaho Ski Resorts Have Added Usable Terrain This Year
The prep to open the ski resorts in Idaho is a yearlong task. Many resorts have been working through the summer to clear new areas for use during the ski season.
Sun Valley has an additional 90 acres for visitors to use, Tamarack added around 60 acres. Silver Mountain, Bogus Basin, and Kelly Canyon have added new glades, and Magic Mountain has expanded the bunny hill and tubing area.
