UPDATE: Single Vehicle Injury Accident Near Agropur Jerome Cheese
The Idaho State Police Department is investigating a single-vehicle injury accident in Jerome, Idaho.
UPDATE 052323: The driver has succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
On Monday morning, May 22, 2023, around 1:45 a single-vehicle crash occurred near the Jerome Cheese Company in Jerome County on W 100 S (also called W Nez Perce Ave). The police report states:
A 38-year-old male, from Wendell, was traveling westbound on 100 S in a Chevrolet Silverado. The male exited the vehicle while it was in motion and the truck came to rest against a nearby fence.
The man was transported to a nearby hospital by air ambulance and the road was blocked for about 2 hours Monday morning.
The accident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
