Major Concert Tour Suddenly Cancels on 3 Idaho Stops

If there is one thing that Boise loves, it is some live music in the summertime.

Sure, concerts are a great time no matter the time of year--especially if you're a lover of live music. Summertime in the Treasure Valley, though? Live music at one of our many amazing venues in town just hits different.

This time of year, it's almost overwhelming to even try and keep track of who is in town. Just a couple of weeks ago, Kaleo, Zach Topp, and AJR were all in town on the same night. Three A-list acts and we had to choose which show to attend!

Lovers of classic, throwback music are about to be real upset, however, as one major concert has been announced as CANCELLED.

Recognize those guys up above? That's a photo from 1964 of The Beach Boys and yes, they're still touring and were slated to come to Idaho for not just one but THREE concerts.

All of them have been canceled.

In an article released by The Independent, a quote from the band was shared that made its way across several venue websites that had planned to host the band.

The Beach Boys said that they have been having a great time on tour, but would be taking a break ahead of their shows in September.

What does that do for Idaho? Well...it cancels al three of their shows in Pocatello, Nampa, and Lewiston.

A refund announcement was also posted to the Ford Idaho Center website:

Ticketholders of this performance who purchased ticket through Ford Idaho Center and ICTickets will be automatically refunded. No action is required to obtain the refund. The refund will be issued to the original method of payment used at time of purchase. Customers who purchased tickets through a third party must contact their original point of purchase.

The good news? Refunds!

We hope that the band will make it right to Idaho and get some new dates on the calendar next year!
