One grocery store in Idaho, Washington, and Utah will soon be closing all its stores on the same day, and customers are feeling a certain way about it.

Labor Day is fast approaching and will be the final holiday of the summer and the last major holiday for a while. It is the final chance for many to take one last long weekend to go camping, fishing, hitting the lake, or get out of town. Some will want to enjoy it by being outdoors and traveling, while others will want to sit on the couch and enjoy college football or do things around the house. Either way, many will be stocking up on food for the long weekend, but make sure to get what you need before September 1, which is when Labor Day is this year, as one of the most popular places to shop, Costco, will be closed for the day. It may not be ideal, but their employees want to enjoy the final unofficial weekend of summer as well.

While there will be those disappointed to see the store closed, and wondering why Costco would be closed for Labor Day, this is one of a few times they do close for the day throughout the year. This is not the first time they have closed this year, and won't be the last. They have also been closed on New Year's Eve, Easter, Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, and will be closed on Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas as well. Being a major chain that closes on these holidays is one of the many reasons that employees enjoy working for Costco.
