As the month rolls on, weekends at Tubbs Berry Farm are a must this time of year, There is much to do and you don't want to miss out on the fun. There is a huge hay maze, slides, an apple blaster, a bounce pad, a petting zoo, hayrides, and much more. There is something for all age groups, including adults. The farm is open on Thursday from 3 PM to 9 PM and on Friday and Saturday from 10 AM to 9 PM. Admission is $10 on Thursday and $12 on Friday and Saturday. There are many mazes to choose from this time of year from hay to corn and they are all different and offer their own challenge. They should all be attempted, and one that you surely won't want to miss out on is the Burley Straw Maze. The maze is open Thursday from 4 PM to 9 PM, Friday from 1 PM to 10 PM, and Saturday from 10 AM to 11 PM. Admission is $10 on Thursday, and $12 on Friday and Saturday, with the haunted maze being $14 on Saturdays from 8 PM to 11 PM. Calling all wizards and witches or fans of Harry Potter, there is an event this weekend that you won't want to miss. This Thursday, Friday, and Saturday the Historic Wilson Theater in Rupert will be hosting the Wilson Wizarding Experience. Make sure to dress up and come ride the magical train, sit under the sorting house, take a potions class, and much more. The experience starts at 6 PM on all three nights, with a noon session on Saturday as well. Tickets are still available and differ depending on the experience you choose. While many residents in the Magic Valley will be out getting scared at one of the many attractions this weekend, how about going a different route and sitting inside a theatre taking in a spooky musical? 'Evil Dead the Musical' will be taking place this weekend at the Orpheum Theatre. Shows will be performed Thursday through Saturday, with performances taking place at 7 PM each night. Tickets start as low as $17.50. Friday, October 20, and Saturday, October 21 - Magic Valley Corn Maze

If you enjoy doing mazes, you won't want to miss your opportunity to do the Magic Valley Corn Maze. The maze is open this Friday from 5:30 PM to 9 PM, and on Saturday from noon to 7 PM, and then the haunted maze is from dark until 11 PM. There is much more than just a maze though as there is also the pumpkin patch, jump pad, big slide, a petting zoo, a train, and more. Tickets are $8 per person or $20 for the haunted maze and forest. Saturday, October 21 - Those Two Chicks Fall Market

There are many fun events taking place to get scared at, or lost in a maze, but shopping for autumn decorations is another fun way to spend a fall afternoon. Those Two Chicks Fall Market is taking place this Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM and will be happening at 371 Eastland Drive. This is a great event to shop for decorations, clothing, décor, either for yourself or for gifts. You never know what you will find in this market. There will be multiple local vendors, local food, and a coffee truck as well. Make sure to head out and do some shopping this weekend at Those Two Chicks Fall Market.

The Haunted Swamp is one of the scariest attractions in the Magic Valley this time of year, and while many people love to be scared and scream, the swamp isn't for everyone. Little kids typically aren't able to handle the scares, but this Saturday, that all changes as the Haunted Swamp will have Kiddie Day from 11 AM to 3 PM. This is the perfect time to take your little ones as one of the scariest places in town transforms into a kid-friendly environment for the afternoon, offering trick-or-treating, a bounce pad, face painting, axe throwing, Disney princesses, and much more. Do you have little ones and want to get out and let them celebrate the season and fun that comes with this time of year? Mid-Columbia Bus Company will be hosting its first annual Autumn Festival at South Hills Middle School this Saturday from 2 PM to 5 PM and it is perfect for children. The event is intended for children pre-K through 6th grade, and there will be bobbing for apples, face painting, pumpkin painting, fun games, and more. Dressing up is not required but is encouraged.
