Twin Falls Radio Host Says Goodbye to the Magic Valley
Radio hosts and television hosts often come and go throughout cities and towns in America. There are many reasons for leaving that are all different. Some decide to change careers, some decide to move into another market, some decide to retire, and some get fired for various reasons. These personalities are often ingrained in communities, as they can be the face of local television or the voice of a local radio show. Some are happy when certain talents leave, and others are sad when their favorite is no longer on television or the radio. A local Twin Falls radio host is leaving the Magic Valley and would like to say goodbye to his audience.
Jeff Leaving KEZJ
For the last four and a half years, I have called 95.7 KEZJ and the Magic Valley home. It was a move that brought many changes to my everyday life, and it took time to adjust to the Idaho and Magic Valley way. Recently, I was offered a job in another state to be on a different morning show on a country music station. After much thought, my family and I decided it was the right time to make this move and to take a chance on moving to another state with our kids and start this new adventure. It was not an easy choice to make, as my kids are leaving behind friends, we are leaving behind people that have become family, and we will miss much about the Magic Valley. I have enjoyed my time in the Magic Valley and would like to say thank you to everyone who supported me on my journey and growth in the Gem State.
Thank You, Magic Valley
Some of you hate me for my writing, and some of you hate me for my on-air personality. Some of you tolerate me, and others have become friends and listeners I enjoy interacting with. For those that I have offended or upset, I apologize. My goal was to always entertain, but never to anger. I wanted to get emotional reactions out of you. But at times, may have crossed lines or taken things too far. I am not perfect and have made mistakes. For those of you who have become friends, you have made coming to work and doing events fun for me. I will miss the calls, the messages, the conversations, and the friendships. For those who are casual listeners and readers, thank you for supporting me. It is because of you that I get to do what I do and get an opportunity to move to another place.

I will miss being out at events and talking to many of you. I will miss writing for this community. I will miss the annual events that make the Magic Valley so special. Thank you for allowing my family and me to call Twin Falls home. We have all grown here, and Twin Falls will be a part of our hearts and lives forever. I watched my boys grow here. I welcomed a new child here. This community supported me when my mom passed away. Thank you for helping teach me, shape me, and allow me to grow as a radio host, a dad, a man, and for allowing me to be a part of your lives in some capacity for the last four and a half years. Goodbye, Magic Valley.
