Mother Reports 2 Missing After Leaving For Idaho River
A search is on for two individuals along a section of a north Idaho river known for its heavy rapids and challenging rafting. A concerned relative has asked the community for help in locating them near the river east of Lewiston.
The Lochsa River runs for nearly 70 miles in north-central Idaho and is a popular whitewater rafting destination. Two friends reportedly left over the weekend to head out to this area and haven't been heard from since.
According to Idaho Missing Persons Alerts, a North Idaho mother is asking anyone who visited the river over the weekend to send her a social media message if they believe they saw her daughter and boyfriend. The male was referred to as Jerry, and the female's name is Weir, according to the missing persons' Meta page.
