Yellowstone National Park is a vacation that every person in the world should take. The park is amazing, but it does get extremely crowded at times.

If you hate traffic, walking, parking, the smell of rotten eggs (Sulphur), or people, you might be better off watching the live video feeds of the National Park rather than visiting during a peak tourist season.

There’s a Live Video Feed of the Old Faithful Geyser at Yellowstone National Park

That’s the good news: if you can’t go to the park or don’t want to, there are 10 live video feed cameras set up around the park.

Granted, the only one you’ll be excited to watch from your home is the feed of Old Faithful and the Upper Geyser Basin. The rest of the cameras show the traffic conditions at entrances or a few of the main attractions around the park, but the cameras are static.

That means they are more like a traffic camera where you get a refreshed picture every 30 seconds instead of a true video.

How to Watch the Live Video Feed of Yellowstone’s Most Famous Geyser

The Old Faithful camera is the exciting one, because it is a true video feed. It’s also nice that the Yellowstone website updates the timeframes for expected geyser eruptions around the park, so you know when to watch.

The camera on the NPS website worked better at showing the video for us than the link at the Yellowstone Forever website. You can try both and see which works best for you.

We got lucky a few minutes ago and saw the latest eruption from our office.
