2 Bathrooms at Idaho State Park Destroyed by Vandals
The vandals caused extensive and expensive damage to the 2 bathrooms. The Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation shared on social media that ‘toilets, mirrors, sinks, and urinals were destroyed.’
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Gooding County Sheriff.
Comments on the social media post call the actions of the vandals:
- Absolutely ridiculous
- Horrible and so disgraceful
- Awful
- So sad
- Angry people without purpose
The Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office shared the post on Facebook with the addition line of ‘This is why we can’t have nice stuff.’
Due to the extent of the damage and the amount of money it will take to fix the bathrooms, it’s clear that whoever did this will be in extreme trouble when they are found.
Penalties for trespassing and malicious injuries to property are outlined in Idaho legislation Title 18 Chapter 70.
You can report any info to the Gooding County Sheriff at 208-934-4421 or directly to the park at 208-837-4505.
