
Woman Survived Overnight After Driving Car Off Cliff in Southern Idaho
A woman was rescued in Southern Idaho after she drove off a cliff and was stuck overnight.
A boat that was passing by the day after the accident saw her vehicle and reported it to authorities.
Emergency responders were sent to the scene, near Massacre Rocks State Park, and the woman was air-lifted to a local hospital.
A Woman Was Found Injured a Day After Her Car Went Over a Cliff in Idaho
According to a social media post from the Power County Sheriff’s Office, the woman went off the cliff sometime during the night on May 6th. The wreck was spotted by the passenger on a boat in a remote area of the river the following morning around 10:30AM.
The accident is being investigated, and authorities are unsure what caused the crash.
Rescuing the woman took the efforts of a variety of emergency responders due to the remoteness and difficult access to the wreck location.
The woman was injured and is receiving medical attention at a local hospital.
