JEROME, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) - A Jerome man was arrested Thursday afternoon after a firearm was discharged and a fight at a restaurant lead to a small chase down South Lincoln Avenue in Jerome.

Jerome Police Chief Dan Hall said at about 2:25 p.m. police responded to a report of shot fired at a residence located on the 400 block of West Avenue E. The man later identified as Antonio Bon, 23 of Jerome, had allegedly entered a home of people he knew and was turned away. Sometime during being in the house a shot had been fired either intentionally or accidentally inside the home, police said.

Police said Bon then left the residence. Shortly thereafter, a reported fight at McDonald’s lead to one vehicle chasing another vehicle, and ended at Shady Acres on South Lincoln Avenue. Police said Bon was also involved in the chase and allegedly had two children in the vehicle at the time of the chase.

Bon was arrested on charges of injury to a child, felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor charges of unlawful entry, reckless driving, unlawful discharge of a firearm within city limits and disorderly conduct.
