Motorcycle Hits Semi Truck in Second Deadly Twin Falls Crash Today

There have been two fatal accidents reported today by Idaho State Police near Twin Falls and within a few miles and hours of each other.

In one accident a pickup truck rolled and killed the driver and the second claimed the life of a motorcycle driver.

Motorcycle Driver Dead After Hitting Semi Truck on Idaho Highway

The first fatal accident happened around 9:30 in the morning at mile marker 175 on I84. Full details of that accident can be found below. The second fatal crash happened just 2 hours later at 11:30 and only 9 miles away on Interstate 84. Both accidents involved vehicles traveling westbound.

The second accident involved a motorcycle that failed to slow in time and struck a semi-truck. The crash happened at mile marker 184 according to the ISP report.

A 63-year-old male of Eagen, Minnesota, was driving westbound on I84 on a 2019 Harley Davidson motorcycle.

A 26-year-old male of Burley, ID, was also driving westbound on I84 in a 2025 Western Star semi-truck pulling two trailers.

The motorcycle struck the semi-truck as traffic slowed. The rider of the motorcycle was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.

The accident blocked late morning traffic for around 1 hour. Idaho State Police are investigating the accident.

The 11:30 accident was mentioned in our report of the 9:30 accident as it was still blocking traffic and emergency crews were still responding to the scene.

The accident at 9:30AM claimed the life of a male driver in a pickup truck. His vehicle was hit by a car which caused the truck to roll.
