The deadly accident happened Saturday night, just about 40 minutes before midnight, at the intersection of Riverside Road and SH55 near Nampa.

A blue 1999 Ford Escort, driven by a 59-year-old man from Boise and occupied by a 29-year-old woman from Greenleaf, was traveling westbound on Riverside Road when it failed to stop at the intersection and entered State Highway 55.

The Ford collided with a northbound silver 2025 Toyota Tundra driven by a 47-year-old man from Pasco, Washington, who was accompanied by a 50-year-old female passenger, also from Pasco.

The 3rd vehicle was a 2022 Honda Civic headed southbound on the highway by a 23-year-old female from Texas. The Civic wasn’t struck by a vehicle but instead swerved off the roadway to avoid a collision with the previous two vehicles.
