
Netflix Series Shares New Information About Woman Murdered Near Idaho Border
A murder near the Idaho border in 2021 was solved in great part due to the rise in influencers documenting their lives.
Gabby Petito was one of those influencers and videos from her and other influencers became key in finding her body and uncovering the truth about her death.
New Information About Murder Near Idaho Border Revealed in Netflix Series
The murder of Gabby Petito and the media storm that followed her death captivated the nation, and because of the attention, police were given information that was key to finding Gabby and solving her murder.
A new docuseries streaming on Netflix reveals new information and spotlights how important information from the public was in solving the case. My wife watched the whole series without me, but I watched the final episode with her after she caught me up on some key points in the show.

Even after only seeing the final episode, I was surprised. I was surprised at how helpful the information from the public and videos from social media influencers ended up being. I was floored by the actions of Brian Laundrie’s parents in covering for their son, and I couldn’t help but feel for the people who gave Laundrie a ride to the location where he met up with Gabby and murdered her. They didn’t know at the time that they were taking a man to murder a young woman.
Netflix Series Shares New Information About Woman Murdered Near Idaho Border
Gabby was murdered in Spread Creek, Wyoming - about 30 miles from the border of Idaho in Grand Teton National Park. The new Netflix series is called American Murder - Gabby Petito.
Gabby’s murdered body was found on September 19, 2021, and Brian was found dead by self-inflicted gunshot on October 20, 2021. The Netflix series shares notes that Brian left about his reason for killing Gabby and the pain he felt from her loss that led him to kill himself.
There are additional episodes about Gabby Petito featured on 48 Hours and Lifetime that you can watch on YouTube for free.
The actions of Brian’s parents in covering for him seem questionable in the series, but it wouldn’t be the first time the actions of parents’ however crazy they seem, have been featured in true-crime shows.
Possibly the most bizarre examples are shown in the Netflix series Abducted in Plain Sight. The show is non-stop revelations about extremely questionable parental choices.
