Oh boy, if I had a dollar for each time I heard "Hey, where did these mice come from?"...Authorities say that a Pennsylvania pizzeria owner who had rodent problems tried to sabotage two of his rivals by leaving mice in their shops. The suspect, 47-year-old Nikolas Galiatsatos, first walked into Verona Pizza, used the bathroom then left. The owner discovered footprints on the toilet and a bag tucked up into the drop ceiling but luckily had two police officers dining there at the time. He handed the bag over to them and they discovered three mice inside. Immediately after the bathroom drop, the suspect went over to Uncle Nick's Pizza where he allegedly dumped a mice-filled bag in a trash can inside the restaurant. Police superintendent Michael Chitwood said, "We have never had anything like this where mice have been used as an instrument of crime," Chitwood said. This is food terrorism by mice." The live mice, that police say were purchased at a pet store, were turned over to animal control officers and Galiatsatos faces disorderly conduct, harassment and animal cruelty charges.
