Police in Southern Idaho are looking for the driver of a semi-truck caught on video running over a stop sign, electrical box, and irrigation culvert.

In the video, the trailer of the truck appears to hit a stop sign as the truck turns onto the road and then takes a drop as it runs off the road and over the irrigation culvert tunnel. Some have speculated that there was also a Flock camera on the top of the stop sign.

In the video you can see the truck taking the turn, and having to cut it tight to not hit the white car at the kitty-corner stop sign. The cab of the truck makes the turn just fine, but the trailer cuts the corner and you can se the stop sign go down. Some people online have speculated that there was a Flock camera on the sign that also fell down.

There is no mention of a Flock camera in the report by the police and the DeFlock maps don’t show a camera at that intersection. More than likely, the black box on the stop sign was a solar panel to power the blinking light for the stop sign.

Though, if it were a Flock camera it would have made the identification of the truck much easier.

The Kimberly/Hansen Police Department posted the video, seen below, asking for help from the community to identify the driver or owner of the truck. Since the truck caused property damage, they would like the issue taken care of appropriately.

The accident happened at the intersection of 3600 N and 3400 E, southwest of the city of Kimberly, on October 5th. Maybe the other truck or the car in the video remember the incident and can help.

The video looks to be a phone recording of a screen playing the security camera footage on a computer screen, so it is grainy and hard to get any real details. But, if you do recognize the truck or know the driver, you are encouraged to notify the Kimberly/Hansen Police Department.
