JEROME, Idaho (News Release) – Each year, the employees of St. Luke’s in Jerome host a campaign to raise funds to buy school supplies for children in need.

This year, St. Luke’s employees donated $822 toward the project. The money was divided between five schools, including the four Jerome elementary schools: Summit, Horizon, Jefferson, Heritage Academy and the Jerome Middle School.

On Aug. 25, Sister Barbara Glodowski and Tracy Delgado of St. Luke’s Jerome presented gift certificates of more than $150 apiece to the schools, delivering them personally to either to the school principal or a school representative.

“They know the need in their school and can disburse the supplies as needed,” Sister Barbara Glodowski said. “Everybody we met with today expressed their gratitude to the staff at St. Luke’s Jerome.”
