OK - hold the phone for just a minute. When I think of things that make people happy, I think - money, food, vacations, spa days, funny movies! I do not think of people going to the library. According to a new study though, getting a library card feels as good as a $2300 pay raise. The study also says that going to the library makes you happier than playing sports!
I remember a specific conversation in high school where my teacher told us that on average it cost $1 Million to raise a kid. Turns out my teacher was wrong and it only costs around $57,000 to raise a teenager.
When was the last time you got a raise at your job (assuming you have ever had a raise)? I'm also assuming that you don't make $400,000 a year...so this may seem like a silly question to ask considering the situation our country is in, but do you think The President needs or deserves a raise?
