Sacramento rockers Tesla are hitting the road for two months as the band gets ready to celebrate 40 years of touring.

Tesla formed in California in 1981, and have managed to keep four of their five founding members together since. Led by lead vocalist Jeff Keith, the band will celebrate 40 years in 2021.

Tesla is best known for singles such as "Love Song," "Paradise," and their 1990 cover of Five Man Electric Band's "Signs." The band's upcoming, 24-date tour, begins February 1, in Minnesota. Their release of "Five Man Acoustic Jam," in 1990, proved to be the band's most commercially successful album.

The band's first performance during their spring leg will take place at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, according to Tesla's official website. The date of the show is March 30.

Tesla will also spend a week performing on the Monsters of Rock Cruise beginning February 24. The ship sets sail out of Florida and heads to Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
