One of the most popular southern rock bands of the past 50 years are on tour with plans to stop in southern Idaho in early September.

The Marshall Tucker Band formed in the early seventies in South Carolina. Since releasing their debut album in 1973, the band has gone on to record nearly 30 studio albums, seven of which went gold. Hit songs such as, "Heard It In A Love Song," "Can't You See," and "Fire On The Mountain," are beloved recordings for rock fans all over the world.

The band's,"Through Hell and High Water Tour," extends into November. The Knitting Factory will host the band on Sunday, September 8, at 7:00 p.m. Tickets start at $37, according to the venue's entertainment page.

Prior to this year's U.S. tour, The Marshall Tucker Band joined other acts such as Molly Hatchet and Lynyrd Skynyrd on the Southern Rock Cruise from Florida to Mexico.
