The Twin Falls City Council will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 14 in the City Council Chambers located at 305 Third Avenue East to consider a request to amend the city code regarding restrictions on the sale, service, and consumption of liquor at licensed businesses. City Code 3-9-9 restricts the time and day of liquor sales under specific circumstances, including some holidays and local elections. The request being brought to the City Council proposes to remove restrictions for selling liquor on Memorial Day, Thanksgiving Day, and election days. The request also proposes to extend the hours when licensed businesses can sell liquor.
