Not only will this weekend be filled with sunshine it will also be filled with fun outdoor events and some indoor events for those who don’t want to be in the sun.

The forecast does show temperatures pushing towards, and possibly over, 100 degrees this weekend so whatever you decide to do - make sure you are prepared.

What is Happening in Southern Idaho this Weekend

There are 2 large music festivals this weekend: The Boise Music Fest on Saturday and the Highway 30 Music Fest going on now through Saturday. There will even be a circus traveling around Idaho and indoor shows in Twin Falls at the Orpheum and Roper Auditorium.

  • HWY 30 Music Fest
    The Highway 30 Music Fest runs Wednesday through Saturday at the Twin Falls County Fairgrounds. Dozens of bands are performing with headliners Morgan Wade, Shane Smith and the Saints, Chase Rice, and The Steel Woods.
  • Boise Music Festival
    The Boise Music Festival is Saturday at Expo Idaho in Garden City. More than 40 local bands will perform along with headliners Jason Derulo, Dustin Lynch, Ceelo Green, Bryan Martin, and more.
  • El Korah Shriners Jordan World Circus
    The Jordan World Circus is traveling around Idaho this week. You can see them at these locations.
    Tuesday, June 18th in Idaho Falls at the Sandy Downs Arena
    Wednesday, June 19th in Rupert at the Minidoka Fairgrounds
    Thursday June 20th in Jerome at the Fairgrounds
    Friday June 21st to Sunday June 23rd at the Expo Idaho Grand Stands in Garden City
  • A Better Trip Comedy Show at the Orpheum
    Shane Mauss is bringing his ‘A Better Trip’ comedy show to the Orpheum in Twin Falls on Sunday, June 23rd at 7:30 PM.
  • Jump Company Performing Les Misérables at the Roper Auditorium
    You can see Les Misérables at the Roper Auditorium this week performed by school-aged kids. Tickets are $15 and shows are nightly at 7 PM Wednesday through Saturday, with a matinee show on Saturday at 2 PM.
  • Magic Valley Speedway Races
    Saturday night is K&T Steel Midnight Ride night at the Magic Valley Speedway. Gates open at 5 and racing starts at 6:30 PM.
  • Summer Vendor Event by Ripped Swag
    Head to the Twin Falls City Park on Saturday for the Summer Vendor Event by Ripped Swag from 10 AM to 4 PM.
