What is the 2026 Twin Falls Western Day Parade Route and Time
The Twin Falls Western Days event has begun in Downtown Twin Falls at the City Park. Between the carnival rides, food trucks, vendor booths, live music, and other activities, there is something for everyone. There is even something for people who don’t plan on attending Western Days: road closures due to the parade.
The parade will run from the center of town into downtown, which means there will be dozens of road closures. We have provided the route, closures, and times for the parade below, along with a list of all the live music that you can enjoy for free during Western Days.
When is the 2026 Twin Falls Western Days Parade
Twin Falls Western Days will take place from May 29th through May 31st this year, featuring carnival rides and live music each day. The parade happens on Saturday morning, beginning at 9 AM, but depending on where you decide to sit, you might not see any floats until close to 10.
The closer you set up to the beginning of the parade, the sooner it starts, the sooner it ends, and the more likely you are to get candy from the participants (since they sometimes run out by the end of the parade route).
What is the 2026 Twin Falls Western Day Parade Route
There are benefits to camping out at the beginning of the route, as mentioned before, but if you grab a spot near the end, you’ll get the shade from the city park, and you’ll be that much closer to the rest of the Western Days activities. So, make sure you choose your spot wisely.
The parade begins at the intersection of Falls and Blue Lakes and heads south on Blue Lakes, turning onto Shoshone Street at the Addison 5-points intersection. It will continue down Shoshone Street, past the city park, and end at 2nd Ave S.
The majority of the route has sidewalks on both sides of the street, so there are plenty of great and safe places to watch the parade.
What Roads Will Be Closed During the 2026 Twin Falls Western Days Parade
Road closures will begin at 6 AM on Falls Ave to allow floats to begin setting up. The rest of the roads along the route will close at 7 AM. Since the parade runs down Blue Lakes, the busiest street in the city, it will affect traffic for a few hours leading up to and after the parade is finished. Every cross street intersection along the route will be closed, including heavy-use intersections at Falls, Addison, and Main Ave.
To bypass the road closures, drivers will need to use side streets around the parade. Locust and Harrison are good options close to the parade. To completely avoid parade route traffic and closures, drivers can use Washington Street or Eastland.

Parade route closures are not the only road closures that will be happening. The streets around the Twin Falls City Park are also closed during the event, except for Shoshone Street, which will reopen after the parade.
