This is the Easiest and Best Way to Help Other People This Thanksgiving in Southern Idaho
The holiday season is upon us and it always ignites a greater sense of community caring and a desire to help others. The best way to do that is a 3-day event coming up in Southern Idaho.
60 Hours to Fight Hunger: The Best Way to Help Magic Valley Families This Thanksgiving
The annual food drive for South Central Community Partnership in Twin Falls is coming up and it’s the easiest and safest way to donate food and money and make sure it goes to families in need. 60 Hours to Fight Hunger will kick off on November 21st at noon with the Twin Falls Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors at Rob Green GMC on Blue Lakes in Twin Falls and ends on the 23rd.
There are a lot of ways you can do good and causes you can donate to in the Magic Valley, but with South Central Community Action Partnership all the donations go to local families. Last year, 1133 turkeys were collected and the goal for this year is 2,400.
Donations can also include ham, canned food, dry box foods, and money. If you choose to donate money, SCCAP will purchase additional food with their non-profit discount and make your donation go further.
If you can’t make it to a donation location, Rob Green GMC on Blue Lakes each day or Smiths Grocery store on Saturday, you can make donations online. Choose the ‘Food Support’ button on the SCCAP website.
