JEROME, Idaho (KLIX)-An agriculture-related business says it plans to build a large distribution center in Jerome.

Southern Idaho Economic Development announced Nelson-Jameson, Inc. will build a 29,000 square foot distribution facility on the south end of Jerome near the Northside Subdivision. The company provides services to the food and dairy industries with safety, sanitation, material handling, lab and packaging products.

The company currently serves the Magic Valley Dairymen and Processors. “The City of Jerome’s core businesses are born out of the dairy and milk processing industries. We are excited to have Nelson-Jameson in Jerome to deepen these relationships,” said Mayor David Davis.
