TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX) Several areas in Twin Falls will see road closures or restrictions as contractors begin roadway rehabilitation projects this week.

According to the city, today work will get underway at the intersection of Madrona Street and Falls Avenue for gutters and curbs. The intersection for southbound traffic will be closed off. Next week workers will restrict traffic down to one lane at the intersection of Capri Drive and Falls Avenue for gutters. Also next week, the intersection of Sunrise Boulevard and Falls Avenue will be cut down to one lane for traffic for more gutter and curb pouring.

The curbing and gutter work will be followed by repair work to badly damaged streets during the winter which the city is using reserve money to pay for. The city says lane restrictions will be lifted within one week of each project.
Questions or concerns about the project should be directed to Josh Baird, City of Twin Falls Staff Engineer, at 208-735-7323 or jbaird@tfid.org
