What is Being Built Next to the Fire Station by Swensen’s in Twin Falls, ID

Construction on a new business in Southern Idaho has begun and it’s a much needed addition to the area.

Mentioning ‘construction’ in Idaho right now might bring up feelings of anger as it seems like every road is under construction, but this construction is good. Especially if you live on the south side of Twin Falls.

Second AutoZone Location Under Construction in Twin Falls, Idaho

The external walls of the new AutoZone in Twin Falls are up and crews are continuing their work on finishing the new store. Currently, AutoZone only lists the Blue Lakes location on their website. The sign outside the new construction simply states ‘Coming Soon!’ with a QR code for employment information.

New businesses on the south side of Twin Falls are a welcome sight as there are plenty of open locations for stores, but most residents have to drive north into town for restaurants and other necessities. The small clump of businesses on Orchard and Washington are pretty much the only locations offering services in the area and include Swensen’s with a few small stores adjacent to it, an Oasis gas station, and a Family Dollar.

Where is the New AutoZone Being Built in Twin Falls, Idaho?

The new AutoZone is going up in front of the Swensen’s store at 997 Washington Street, next to the new Fire Station #3.

Work is also happening in the area to expand Vista Bonita Park. Once finished, Vista Bonita will be the 4th largest park in Twin Falls.
