People around the world have been jumping onto their social media accounts this week to share their views on what has been dubbed ‘RaptureTok’ and the supposed end of the world.

If you are religious, you probably believe in some sort of end-of-the-world type event or Second Coming that coincides with the return of Jesus Christ. You might also believe that it’s an event that can’t be predicted, yet that’s exactly what happened and why people are talking about it.

People in UT, ID, and WA Are Talking About the Rapture This Week: But Why?

The latest prediction reportedly comes from a pastor in Africa who received a vision that the rapture will happen this week on the 23rd and 24th. You can watch the hour-long YouTube video posted later in this story, where he states the date about 1 minute into the video, kind of. He says the dates but not the month. The full ‘revelation’ is shared later in the video at about the 38-minute mark.

Discussions about the rapture and what it means are interesting, since the word ‘rapture’ isn’t used in scripture. It’s a great debate because the Bible (Matthew 24) does say that nobody knows when Jesus Christ will return. Also, why are we just hearing about this now? The YouTube video was posted more than 3 months ago, and those who are worried could have been preparing instead of scrambling.

Should We Be Worried in WA, UT, and ID About the End of the World Happening This Week

So, will it happen? Is it happening right now, and some of us just don’t know it yet? Have we achieved all of the signs of the second coming (some call them the 7 signs) described in the Bible, which include: wickedness, wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes, disease, famine, great storms, widespread deception, and moral decay?

Either way, people are having fun with the prediction. One post on X says: What’s everyone wearing for the rapture tomorrow. A post on Facebook aims to 'clarify' what’s happening by saying: Raptors are coming tomorrow, not the rapture.

Others are using the time to point out that you should be a good person and preparing to meet Jesus Christ every day of your life, as warned in Thessalonians, not just when you think the end is near.

What do you believe about the Second Coming? Are we seeing all the signs that point to it as described in the scriptures?

Celebrities Who Found Religion

The glitz and glam of fame may appear to be the good life. However, dealing with the trials and tribulations of life all while in the spotlight for the world to see can be a heavy weight to bear. While this is an obstacle all celebrities face, many of our favorite actors, singers and other celebrities have turned to religion to help cope with the pressure of celebrity and find their inner faith.
