BURLEY, Idaho (KLIX) A frozen French fries maker plans a major expansion in the Mini-Cassia area this year. McCain Foods USA announced it will pump more than $200 million into the Burley plant to expand the potato processing factory. McCain says it will create upwards of 180 new jobs for the area.

Construction is slated for later this month with completion in about a year. The Lt. Governor's office expects construction to create 200 jobs alone. The Canadian based company has operated in Burley for about 20 years and has 51 factories around the world.
