Are 90% of Idaho Drivers Using Drugs?
We had a pretty difficult time believing the numbers we're about to share with you, and we're assuming your reaction is going to be similar.
You aren't going to believe how many drivers in Idaho are also under the influence of drugs.
Are that many people really driving while having illegal substances in their system?
Well, according to this 2025 fiscal year survey, yes.
The Idaho State Police Forensic Services just dropped it's 2025 toxicology report, and it's a freakin' doozy.
According to their results, a mind-blowing 90% of DUI cases requiring both alcohol and toxicology tests, 90% of said toxicology tests came back positive with at least one drug present. The drugs of choice? Cannabinoids, amphetamine/methamphetamine and fentanyl/norfentanyl.
Now, reading between the lines, this doesn't exactly mean that 90% of all Idaho drivers are under the influence of drugs. However, the numbers still don't make us feel any safer behind the wheel here in the Gem State.
Be careful out there, don't use illegal drugs, and make good choices. K. Love you. Goodnight.

As a matter of fact, some of your favorite country artists have had some pretty bad experiences when it comes to overuse of drugs and illegal substances.
