Beware of Perverts Touching Children in the Gem State

During the summer many enjoy going to the waterpark, the lake, and the pool, and it isn't uncommon to see people walking around in their bathing suits due to the heat. This time of year more skin is shown than any other time of year, and while it shouldn't be a big deal, some folks view this as a sign that it is ok to look and touch. This is never appropriate behavior, especially when it involves children. Accidents will happen from time to time when a hand or arm brushes up against someone, but when it happens multiple times with multiple people, it is no longer an accident. Recently, one man thought it was acceptable to touch children at a waterpark in Idaho, and law enforcement taught him otherwise. 

Man Arrested For Touching Children at Idaho Waterpark

Roaring Springs is a great place to enjoy a summer afternoon floating on the lazy river, going down waterslides, and playing in the wave pool. Many families each year visit the waterpark for a day of fun and splashing, but recently, one man decided to have a different type of fun that ended up in him being arrested. Bo Gene Crisp, a 40-year-old man, was arrested after being accused of touching a female in the wave pool at Roaring Springs. The incident was reported to management who asked Crisp to leave the park before calling the police who then arrested the man. After an investigation, it was determined that two children were victims, and it is expected that more could be as well that have not come forward yet.

Sadly, these incidents occur more than most realize and while this time the man was caught, reported, and arrested, that isn't always the case. As young children are out having fun this summer it is important to make sure they are aware of the danger of people like Crisp that may use inappropriate behavior. Make sure that you are keeping a close eye on your children when they are at a waterpark, in a public pool, or swimming near others, because what happens in these crowds and underwater may not be acceptable behavior.
