8 Stores That Moved into Twin Falls in 2023

The new year is off and rolling, and there is plenty to look forward to this year. Resolutions might still be going, which means new diets, new goals, and trying to make life overall better than the previous year. While 2023 is now a thing of the past, it is always nice to look back and reflect. The town of Twin Falls did some growing last year, and part of that was bringing in new businesses. Many new businesses decided to call Twin Falls home last year, and the hope is that these new places will stick around through 2024 and beyond. Let's welcome and reflect on all the new shopping and eating options that came to Twin Falls in the past year.

Twin Falls Zoo in Magic Valley Mall

The rumors began nearly 2 years prior, but after a long wait, the Twin Falls Zoo finally opened in 2023, and it was worth the wait. Located in the Magic Valley Mall, the zoo is a great place to go to get out of the house, especially during the winter. You can go for the day, or get a season pass and go whenever you please. It may have taken a while, but the Twin Falls Zoo was a great addition to Twin Falls last year. 

Cotton On in Twin Falls

Residents of Twin Falls are always looking for new stores to shop at and get the latest fashion, and this past year the clothing chain Cotton On opened in the Magic Valley Mall on the back half of the year. In many people's minds there can't be enough options when it comes to clothing stores and Cotton On is welcomed with open arms to the Magic Valley. 

Magic Rock City in Twin Falls

Idaho is known to be home to some incredible rocks and gems, and while it is always fun to search for and find some, it isn't always possible or easy for everyone. Late in the year, the Magic Valley Mall saw another addition to the shopping center as Magic Rock City opened. It has a variety of rocks and other things to enjoy and shop for. If you haven't been you need to stop by the mall and check out the new store. 

Baked N' Loaded Potato Company in Twin Falls

Nothing screams Idaho like potatoes, and having a potato restaurant come to Twin Falls was a welcomed addition to the Magic Valley. Who knew there were so many different ways to make a potato? There are some creative selections at Baked N' Loaded Potato Company and if you haven't been, you need to get to the Magic Valley Mall and stop by the food court as soon as you can. 

Real Deals in Twin Falls

As mentioned above, everybody enjoys clothing stores, and while Real Deals offers clothes, it offers much more. This store opened early in 2023 but has been a nice addition to the town and community. They offer clothing, décor, and much more. The store is located at 1503 Blue Lakes Boulevard. Make sure to check them out the next time you are out running errands in the area. 

Meat and Potato Company in Twin Falls

Meat and Potato Company isn't new to Twin Falls, but having a physical store is. In 2023, a store was opened at 269 Addison Avenue, and having a physical store has been long overdue for the company. If you need good meat but want to physically see what you are getting, instead of in pictures, make sure to stop by the store and get what you need and ask any questions you have. 

Natural Grocers in Twin Falls

Early in 2023, Twin Falls saw Bed Bath & Beyond close, and many waited to see what would fill the vacant building, until it was eventually announced that Natural Grocers would be moving in. They opened around the middle part of the year and residents have been happy with the addition of the grocery store. If you are someone who has made a resolution to eat better this year and to be healthy, Natural Grocers is a great place to start and will have everything you need. 

Chipotle in Twin Falls

Anytime a new restaurant comes to Twin Falls, it is met with excitement. While Chipotle once called Twin Falls home, after a few years away, it returned in 2023. The store was highly anticipated and has not disappointed since opening. The store is well located on Cheney Drive in the Walmart parking lot, and the drive-thru for pickup is a nice addition. While not everyone will enjoy Chipotle, for those who do, it is nice to have them back in town.

New stores are coming to the Magic Valley every year, and 2023 saw some incredible additions that have given residents more eating options, shopping options, and helped the town continue to grow. These stores and restaurants are welcomed additions to Twin Falls, and it'll be interesting to see what new stores move into the area in 2024.
