Less Than 10 Percent Of Kids Are Following The Career Path Of Their Parents [POLL]

Once upon a time a long time ago you followed the career choice that your father made. Granted we have evolved quite a bit since people lived in castles and rode horses through the forest while wearing shiny armor...but I would have guesses this number to be higher. Daily Mail reports that only 7% of kids are picking the same career as their parents.

I think the fact that kids get to pick a career is key to this change since in the 1800's the number was closer to 50%. Another big part may be that you are telling your kids not to do what you do or they think your job is lame.

I for one tell my kids that if they want a fun job - work in radio. If they want to make money - do anything else.
