Why Does the Golden Corral Website Say ‘Future Opening’ for Twin Falls

We were all surprised when the Golden Corral in Twin Falls abruptly closed last week. Employees were left with questions and looking for new jobs.

Even if you didn’t like the restaurant, the closure was unexpected. Especially so suddenly and without explanation.

Could Twin Falls Get a New Golden Corral Soon?

Not long after the restaurant closed, we started getting messages from the community about some of the information on the Golden Corral website. As late as last Friday, the website still had the location as open and the ‘Jobs’ page showed job openings for a few positions. Some people took this as meaning the location could reopen or they were going to move to another location in town. Golden Corral opening a different location in Twin Falls has yet to be confirmed or denied. The confusing information is now gone and the website lists the Twin Falls location as Permanently Closed.

But, the messages keep coming in because there is some new verbiage on the jobs listing page that is confusing a lot of people again.

Does the Golden Corral Have a 'Future Opening' for Twin Falls

Specifically, the words ‘Future Opening’ on the jobs page of the Twin Falls Golden Corral has people confused and speculating.

But it only takes a closer look to see that the new update to the page is actually an old update. The job listings that were there late last week are indeed gone and the ones that have the words ‘Future Opening’ are listings from January of 2023.

One could argue that they have actually brought back all the job openings and are just recycling old postings and Golden Corral will be reopening in Twin Falls or you could argue that the IT team at Golden Corral just needs to get their stuff together and post the correct info on the website.

What we know is that the Twin Falls Golden Corral is permanently closed and there are no verified plans to reopen anywhere in town. Also, there are no verified reports that the Golden Corral location will become the new location for In N Out - that’s all wishful thinking from residents.

But, there is a new report that the location could become a Raising Cane's restaurant.
