ORIGINAL STORY: The news is real this time, and we confirmed it with the reps at Raising Cane’s: the Twin Falls restaurant is close enough to finished that they have a date in mind for the grand opening.

However, that date may not be exactly what you've been hearing from residents in Twin Falls. In the response we received from Raising Cane’s, they shared new information regarding the timeframe for the restaurant opening.

Twin Falls Raising Cane’s Close To Opening, But Is There a Date Set Yet?

We have seen a lot of posts on social media about Raising Cane’s announcing a grand opening date of January 27th, 2026. KMVT posted today that a rep had confirmed the 27th as the grand opening date. Even the Google business listing shows January 27, 2026, as the date they’ll open. However, Google also shows them as open already.

We know the restaurant isn’t open yet, and there isn’t an official announcement from Raising Cane’s on their social media pages, and their website still says ‘Coming Soon’. So, where does this January 27th date come from? According to Cane’s, not them. At least, not officially.

Remember, we already had sources tell us that the restaurant was open back in the middle of October. That’s why we decided to reach out to them directly. January 27th could be the date they are aiming for as the opening date, but the response we got says:

We are excited to announce that we are planning to open our Twin Falls, ID Restaurant in January 2026!

We are unable to provide an exact date at this time, due to possible changes in construction schedules, and other factors that could affect the opening date.

Would the 27th be awesome? Yes. But that isn’t a date that is set in stone yet. That also doesn’t mean we aren’t going to put it on our calendars, just in case.
