Anyone who recognizes the pickup truck or has useful information should contact the ISP dispatch.

Idaho State Police Seeking Help Finding Truck That Left the Scene of an Injury Accident

The Idaho State Police news release says the accident happened on Sunday, September 13th, around 8 PM, on US 20 in Island Park. Police are looking for the driver of a red Chevy Silverado that may have contributed to the accident.

• The Silverado attempted to pass illegally on a three-lane section of the highway, creating a near head-on collision with an oncoming Subaru.
• While attempting to avoid the pickup, the Subaru left the roadway, struck an embankment, and rolled.

There were two occupants in the Subaru who were taken to a hospital with injuries. The truck driver left the scene.

Comments on the social media post seem to think the truck is a 2022 to 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500, and many aren’t surprised that it was a pickup truck in that area of the state, and that type of driving is common there.

Others pushed agendas that this only proves the need for FLOCK cameras, that it must have been someone from California, Utah, or an illegal immigrant, and that with the color, make, and model it should be easy to look up in the Idaho database.
