Emergency Crews Respond to BASE Jump Accident in Southern Idaho
Emergency crews responded to the Snake River under the Perrine Bridge after receiving reports of an injured BASE Jumper.
Emergency responders arrived by air and by boat to help the injured man. The jumper was taken to the boat dock and then by ambulance to the St. Luke’s Medical Center hospital.
The Twin Falls County Sheriff’s Office posted about the rescue operation on Facebook.
Comments on social media gave praise to the emergency responders, stating:

Twin Falls Preps For the Annual 22 Jumps Fundraising Event
The City of Twin Falls is preparing for the 4th Annual Twin Falls 22 Jumps Fundraising Event. The event will be Saturday, May 25th at the Twin Falls Visitor Center from 7 AM to 6 PM. There will be 3 BASE jumpers doing 22 jumps each to raise awareness and funds to reduce veteran suicide.
The event also includes more than 10 vendors, activities all day, and a flyover by an A-10 squadron.
