When I moved to Twin Falls, Idaho, and learned that people were allowed to BASE Jump from the Perrine Bridge, it surprised me. I’m terrified of heights and could never BASE Jump.

I was also surprised at the variety of ways that BASE Jumpers implement to make the jump more exciting…because falling nearly 500 feet isn’t enough for some people.

This Has to Be the Coolest Perrine Bridge BASE Jump in Idaho

With the Perrine Bridge being one of the few bridges in the world where people can legally BASE Jump, people come from all over the world to experience it. One of the most viral BASE Jumpers has come up with some creative ways to make his jumps exciting and memorable.

Jonathan Cox is the man, and one of his most recent jumps incorporated another of the popular activities in the area: paddleboarding.

Cox is famous for posting proof of his jumps on social media. As of right now, his Facebook Reels documenting jumps are numbered up to 185. Reel 182 was the paddleboard jump, and in 185, he jumps off and eats a banana on his way down.

Some of his videos have a few thousand views, and others have views in the millions.
