One of the most popular parks on the south side of Twin Falls is getting an upgrade and the City of Twin Falls wants to know what the community thinks they should add to improve it.

The City of Twin Falls Parks and Recreation Department has big plans for what will become the 4th largest park in the city. Vista Bonita Park, near Swensen’s on Orchard Drive, is already a popular park for residents. The park has a long walking and biking path that goes around the perimeter, a baseball diamond and backstop, a playground, a covered picnic area, huge open grassy areas, and a hill on the north end of the park that is perfect for family sledding during the winter.

The proposed expansion will add an additional 6.3 acres of land to the park, extending along the south side of Swensen’s and the new fire station #3 to Washington Street.

Vista Bonita Park in Twin Falls is Expanding. Here’s How to Suggest Upgrades

Residents, especially those who live on the south side of Twin Falls near Vista Bonita Park, are encouraged to attend an open house at the Twin Falls Fire Station #3 at 5PM on December 12th. That’s not a lot of notice if you are just hearing about this since today is the 12th but if you can’t attend you can still fill out a suggestion form online to let them know what additions you would like to see at the park. Scan the code below or visit the Twin Falls City website to submit your ideas.
