This Busy Twin Falls Intersection is Changing to a 4-way Stop
The new traffic signs and road construction in Twin Falls will affect drivers starting November 15th.
When is this Twin Falls Intersection Changing to a 4-way Stop?
The City of Twin Falls announced that the intersection of Filer Avenue and Meadowview Lane will be getting new traffic signs on November 15th. The intersection has become busier with pedestrian and vehicle traffic in recent years causing the need for the new signs. The intersection will become a 4-way stop, so all traffic from all directions will need to come to a complete stop and check that the intersection is clear before proceeding through. Drivers will need to watch for other cars and also for pedestrians crossing at the intersection when they stop.

Orchard Drive in Twin Falls Closed for Irrigation Pipe Placement
Construction will also be happening on November 16th on Orchard Drive West (also known as Balanced Rock Road or 3700 N) on the south side of Twin Falls between Washington Street and Kenyon Drive where an irrigation pipe has failed. The Twin Falls Highway District shows the pipe fix will affect a larger area between Grandview and Washington Street. Either way, Orchard will be closed west of Washington Street on the 16th. The construction will begin at 7 AM and the road will be closed in all directions until the work is finished. The roadway should open by 5 PM when crews hope to be done.
Questions about the Orchard Drive project can be directed to the Twin Falls Highway District.
