The Definition of “Cool” Has Changed

Here at KOOL 96.5 we know what cool is. Because we are the coolest :) In the rest of the world though the definition of cool has recently changed...and we are not talking about temperatures, we are talking about what a cool person is.

If you ask anybody who grew up before the 80's then a cool person is somebody like the Fonz. If you ask kids now what a cool person is they will most likely tell you its a person who is nice and well liked.

Researchers say that the new modern definition of "cool" is someone who's friendly and warm, not the detached rebel image you've been perfecting all these years. So I guess that means I can stop hanging by the jukebox waiting for it to skip so I can hit it and make it play again...now what will I do with all that spare time! Also, for the record, a good thumbs up is still cool in my book.
