Apparently, I'm lucky - I have a Chinese Crested Wire Haired Terrier mix and he is adorable! Most anything mixed with a Chinese Crested turn out hideous and win Ugly Dog contests! On Friday, the 23rd annual World's Ugliest Dog award was handed out  in California...and I think it is fair to say the dog that won deserved the title.

--The winner was a 14-year-old Chinese crested and Chihuahua mix named Yoda.  He weighs two pounds, has a giant tongue, patchy hair, and bald legs.  Yoda's owner found him abandoned a decade ago . . . and thought he was a rat. Yes, that dog is not a puppy and does indeed look like a rat!

--For being named World's Ugliest Dog, Yoda wins $1,000.
