Forget The Yurts in Idaho, Check Out These Awesome Airbnb Teepees
When I moved to Idaho from Las Vegas, there were a lot of things that were different. That’s why we moved here for the change, opportunity, and unique options that Southern Idaho offered. One thing that was especially surprising at first was the yurts, we called them igloos when we first saw them. We had never seen them in other places but they are a common housing option around the Southern Idaho hot springs. But, what if I told you there was a much cooler option?

I won’t say that yurts aren’t cool, because they are, but imagine booking your family vacation and staying in a teepee instead. That would be memorable. There are quite a few teepees (or you can spell it tipi, both are acceptable) on Airbnb in a variety of sizes and with a variety of looks.

One of the appeals of the yurts in Southern Idaho is that they are enclosed and usually have floors heated geothermally by the underground hot springs. I’m certain you could do the same with a teepee. There are a lot of interesting Airbnb rentals in Idaho but the teepee option feels like every kid's dream since most of us built teepees out of sheets when we were young.
