Loud 'Boom' Rocks Idaho on Thursday Evening. Source Unknown

I hopped onto social media Thursday evening around 7:30 and was surprised to see that my entire feed was people talking about this massive 'Boom' sound that had happened around 7 o'clock. Somehow, I didn't hear it and I may be the only one who didn't.

Mysterious Loud Boom Sound Reported By Twin Falls Residents

This feels a little to me like a few years ago when we had an earthquake nearby and everyone in my house felt it except me. Now, it seems like all of the Magic Valley heard this loud sound on Thursday night except me, again.

The first boom happened at about 7PM on Thursday and some reported another around 8:15. Here's what Twin Falls residents are saying about the noise.

Over the years there have been many theories attempting to explain the 'mysterious booms' but nothing has been proven. Could it be planes and bombs from Mountain Home, earthquakes or skyquakes, a giant meteor passing by, the canyon expanding and contracting with the weather, or something else?
