On Sunday, July 10, 2016 at approximately 1:32 p.m., the Idaho State Police investigated a three-vehicle, property damage crash at the intersection of US-93 and SH-25 in Jerome County.

Jason Conely, 43, of Hailey, Idaho, was northbound on US-93 in a 2006 Dodge Ram.  Christine Andrist, 39, of Snohomish, Washington, was behind the Dodge in a 2010 Kia Sedona.  Connie Studer, 55, of Rupert, Idaho, was behind the Kia in a 2008 GMC Sierra.  Blowing winds had produced a dust storm resulting in diminished visibility.  The Kia hit the back of the Dodge and then the GMC struck the back of the Kia.

The Dodge and the GMC came to rest on the right shoulder.  The Kia came to rest in the northbound lane of travel.  All drivers were wearing their seatbelts.  The northbound lanes were blocked for approximately one hour.

The crash is under investigation by the Idaho State Police.

Editor's Note: earlier reports indicated the GMC hit the Kia first.
